The first Test match is set to be played on 6th July as the start of a four-match Investec Test series against South Africa. A three-match Investec Test series against the West Indies will follow. We’ve assembled a guide to the summer’s Test matches so you can start planning now.

6-10 July 2017

1st Investec Test

Lord's Cricket Ground, London

The first England v South Africa Investec Test match is set to begin on 6th July. This will be South Africa’s 17th Test match at Lord’s. Lord's Cricket Ground uses a ballot to allocate tickets for international matches. The public ticket ballot will open on Monday 12 December 2016 and will run until Friday 6 January 2017. 14-18 July 2017

2nd Investec Test

Trent Bridge, Nottingham

Test cricket is coming back to Trent Bridge in Nottingham on 14th July. England, back at the scene of their win in the 2015 Investec Ashes, are set to play South Africa in the second match of the series. England has gone undefeated in their last seven Tests at Nottingham, so expectations are running high. Ticket prices range from £50 to £70 per day and are available at this link. 3rd Investec Test

Kia Oval, London

4th Investec Test

Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester

For the final game of the four-game Investec Test series, South Africa returns to Old Trafford in Manchester. This will be the fourth time South Africa has played a Test match in Manchester since they played England in 1998, a game that ended with a draw. Tickets are not yet available. 17-21 August 2017

1st Investec Test

Edgbaston, Birmingham

Birmingham’s prestigious Edgbaston Stadium will play host to England’s first Test match of this Investec Series, where they will play the West Indies. The England team has an excellent record at Edgbaston and expects to see a large audience for the series.
